Rehabilitation in the Home

The Rehab in the Home (RITH) program allows eligible clients to undertake all or part of their rehabilitation in their own home using the familiar environment to enhance the rehabilitation process.

The program provides clients with a comprehensive rehabilitation service tailored to meet their specific needs. The client's general medical practitioner and any appropriate community care agencies are also involved in the program.

Clients may be offered the program upon discharge from an acute hospital, during an inpatient rehabilitation stay or following a home assessment.

People who are able to participate in rehabilitation process and assessed as being medically stable providing the home environment is safe for both client and visiting therapists.
