First look of the first building to be built as part of the redevelopment revealed
We are excited to share with you a new artist impression of what the first building to be constructed as part of the $541.6 million Ballarat Base Hospital Redevelopment will look like!
State Health Minister Martin Foley today visited Grampians Health to release the image of the new building which will house a state-of-the-art pharmacy, pathology and Education and Learning Centre.
Demolition works of the Eildon House and Edward Wilson buildings are currently underway, paving the way for this new building, with construction to commence later this year.
The Ballarat Base Hospital Redevelopment is on schedule for completion in 2027 and once completed will have the capacity to treat at least 18,000 more emergency patients and an extra 14,500 inpatients.
