Welcoming fresh faces into our Volunteer team
A volunteer induction was held in Lederman Hall at the Queen Elizabeth Centre on Tuesday 26 November, welcoming 11 volunteers into the Ballarat team.
The day ensured that the new volunteers were well-prepared for their roles, involving mandatory training sessions and covering essential topics to equip the volunteers with the knowledge and skills needed to provide excellent support. These sessions are important in ensuring that all volunteers understand the protocols and standards expected at Grampians Health.
The day also provided an excellent opportunity for the volunteers to connect with each other and foster a sense of belonging within the team. Additionally, the volunteers were given an in-depth overview of Grampians Health, allowing them to gain a better understanding of the organisation, setting a positive tone for the volunteers' future contributions to the health service.
