In October 2021, the Victorian Health Building Authority asked for your ideas and priorities to help shape the key family spaces in the redeveloped $541.6 million Ballarat Base Hospital - from waiting rooms to gardens.

As part of Stage 1 works of the $541.6 million Ballarat Base Hospital Redevelopment, demolition of the Edward Wilson and Eildon House buildings in Drummond Street will commence in April.

While minor demolition works will occur between now until the end of April, the bulk of works is due to occur later this month and through until late June.

Santa made a special trip this week from the North Pole to Grampians Health Ballarat hospital to spread some Christmas cheer. After two years of disruptions to his usual visits, the hospital corridors rang out with his distinctive bell and calls of ‘Ho, Ho, Ho’ as he visited patients, young and old, with his sacks stuffed with Christmas gifts.

Last June, we asked our community to donate to our annual tax appeal to Give the gift of sound. We are delighted to announce our Newborn Hearing diagnostic equipment has arrived in Ballarat.

Adroit Insurance & Risk is hosting the annual charity golf day on 24 March 2023 to raise funds to help Grampians Health Ballarat to purchase two infant resuscitation cots.

Teams from Grampians Health Edenhope and Grampians Health Ballarat are coming together to ride in the Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay to raise funds for their respective health services. Team members were delighted to meet up in person to share training and race weekend tips ahead of the 520-kilometre-long relay in early April.
