Grampians Health Ballarat Dental Services is dedicated to our patients, staff and community. Our staff support our patients to achieve the highest standard of dental health (oral health) as a partnership. Through a comprehensive evaluation, we help educate and guide each patient through the steps and options available. We assist with making the best choices to achieve the desired dental health outcomes.

Ballarat Aged Care is the largest provider of public residential Aged Care in Australia, with a number of services and facilities available across the Ballarat and Grampians region.

Our Disability Liaison Officers work with health care teams to provide safer, accessible, and more inclusive care during hospital admissions and outpatient clinic appointments, with the aim to minimise the negative impacts of illness and hospitalisation. The goal of the Disability Liaison Office is to support individuals who identify as having a disability and who are accessing, or require assistance to access Grampians Health.

The Dementia Care in Hospitals Program (DCHP) is a model of care to support patient with cognitive impairment and their families while in hospital, linked to the use of an over bedside alert, the Cognitive Impairment Identifier (CII).

Grampians Health Ballarat places vital importance on the input and involvement of our community and consumers in our operations. The Community Advisory Committee is a formal committee who advises the hospital on establishing and maintaining effective systems to ensure  the health services provided meet the needs of the communities we serve, and that the views of consumers are taken into account in the hospital’s decision-making processes.
