Medical students and junior doctors are invited to watch our virtual BHS Medical Careers Night presentation.  This webinar was recorded on April 30th and included presentations from a range of specialists who discussed training requirements for their field of expertise as well as what accredited and non-accredited training options Ballarat Health Services are able to offer.

At Grampians Health there is a long-standing commitment to medical education. This includes prevocational training and vocational specialist training for a number of medical colleges. We are accredited for prevocational training by the PMCV for PGY1 and PGY2 Doctors in Training as well as many vocational streams.Our goal is to provide a high-quality education resources for medical staff that is cost free and password free. We are particularly interested in providing learning resources to people who are not enrolled in formal training programs. Please feel free to use the resources on this website. Welcome to the Emergency Medicine Education and Training (EMET) site. We aim to provide a structured education program for junior medical staff aimed at covering issues within the department from clinical diagnosis and patient outcomes.This site is an initiative of the Emergency Medicine Education and Training (EMET) programme, for which the funding has been generously granted by the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM.  It aims is to provide high quality clinical training to regional and rural clinical staff.Our goal is to provide a high-quality education resource for emergency medical staff that is cost free and password free. Simulation Based Education provides learners with a realistic learning experience, without the risk or consequences of making mistakes. Simulation is a technique that can be used to enhance real-life experience with guided ones that can assist in developing knowledge, skills and attitudes. The SimVan team will work alongside with your team to aid them in immersive hands-on learning to build their skills and confidence.
