Our Graduate Nurse Transition Programs (Ballarat, Horsham/Dimboola, Stawell or Edenhope) support newly graduated nurses as they transition to professional practice. The programs enable graduates to consolidate and further develop their knowledge, skills and competence under supervision and guidance. These well-established supportive programs provide a platform for the development of safe, confident and accountable nursing professionals. While providing support and guidance to the early entry practitioner in assisting a smooth transition from student to registered nurse is essential, the aim of the program is to develop confidence, clinical competence and skills of the multifaceted role of the registered nurse.
