Acupuncture is a system of complementary medicine originating from Chinese medicine. It is based on the belief that energy flows through the body along pathways called meridians. When energy flow is blocked or insufficient for any reason, health and wellbeing are affected.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture uses fine, sterile needles to restore energy flow, bringing mind and body back into balance. Treatments are individualised to each person’s current concerns. An acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of fine sterile, disposable needles at specific points on the body.
